What's Growing?

Thoughts that came to me
while taking out the "Trash"
this morning.

This is my mother's birthday.
She died around the age of 52 in 1960.
I was 12 years old.

My father's seed and my mother's womb
got together. I can out of that.

I want to thank my mother for giving birth to me.

I have grown a lot during all these years.
I would like to do some good service in the next 20 years
based on all I have remembered about what it
takes to be a whole person on earth.

My 60th birthday is Monday
November 19.

I like being a part of the Thanksgiving season.

I have not had too much thought into what
I want to do for this birthday.

I am still recovering and processing
from the Pacific Symposium, November 7-11.

There are some life changing things that will grow out
of all the energy it took to pull that event off.

I have not started to Blog about the Biggies yet.

So what are you growing?
That is a good question.

Alex Tiberi, one of the elders in OM,
Oriental Medicine, was speaking right after my
Closing Ceremony talk last Sunday.

He said that the purpose of life is to
exchange Jeng for shen.

Jeng is what we come in with...the
among of inherent "juice" we can squeeze out.
We trade that in for Shen, Spirit, Soul Growth.

The Shen goes from good interactions with the stuff
that is intended to grow here.

I would say, the #1 thing we can grow is love.

Love holds this place together, this earth.

Most of us do not understand how to grow love to well.

There are a lot of things that this Divine Planet makes
to sustain love.

There are tons of seeds.
Not only do we grow from two seeds loving up against each other,
but there are millions of other kinds of seeds that are here to
live with us.

This morning I was taking out the "Trash" so to speak.
It is a God-awful experience.
I cannot believe what we call Trash.
I cannot believe what we call Recycling.

I just threw a Bubba Pickle Jar that was hanging out
into the Recycling. What a silly waste of something.
What a silly idea in the first place.

I would give each person a few jars or containers,
a single spoon, maybe a knife, and a fork and a bowl
when we are born. That would be more of a loving way to live.

When I would send each person to a school where growing love
was the main cirriculum.

Growing Love?

Because we will likely abuse ourselves out of lack of love,
Mother Earth and the Divine made all these medicinal plants.

Each is in love with our organs.

Each plant is here and connected to the same elements
that make up our organs.

If we only grew and knew our medicines, we would use them
when we needed to be brought back into a loving state inside ourselves.

All these seeds that can grow here...
they are here to make a loving world.
They are here to make this Heaven on Earth.
They are here to grow paradise.

The most valuable human resource is a fully alive person,
who knows how to stay in love with all of life.
This means have reverence for all of life--
all the bugs that are here for good,
all the other animals that came out of wombs,
all the other plant forms that all fit together in love.

There is by the formula enough of everything
for everyone, but then we do not get enough love
as kids so we start attempting to collect things
to make up for the emptiness we feel inside.

Some people imagine that the more they have
the better they will be.

Money is just an expression of energy moving around.
I would rather trade for the food I eat.
I would rather have the food come to be through farmers
I love, and who love me and trust me.

Money collectors....some people imagine that they are
really having a great life when they have as much money
as they can get. Some of us have more money than we need.
We cause a lot of pain to others without even knowing that
in having so much, someone else is hurting.

It, of course, does not have to be this way.
It is just that being out of touch with love,
we do not consider the other person who is in some hell hole
manufacturing what we helps us make money.

We are basically not conscious.
Not conscious of all the things that would naturally grow here.

Love means being responsible for all the things we are growing.

Take, for example, the banana leaves I was just cutting up
for the black takeaway cans.

Wednesday, in Whole Foods Market, I was seeing banana paper
for sale that traveled here from some far off place,
and here I am throwing away banana leaves.

Is that loving?

Will my earth worms eat these leaves?
Can I turn these leaves into something more loving?
Can I turn them into something useful,
as they were intended?

How about the tree growing into the garage?
Can much energy and time is it going to take
to cut it away from there?

How much will it cost?
Who will help?

Was I being responsible in the first place--
loving--to plant this seed of such a tree?
Was I loving in letting it over grow like this?

What was I doing with my time
when I wasn't paying attention to this tree
and how it was growing?

How about all the kids in preschool right now?

Is it loving for them to be there and not at home
with a loving mother?

What is the price we are all going to have to pay
for what this kid is not getting from a loving parent
at home?

Take a look a the eyes of these kids
grown by a loving father and mother?

Can you see the Love?

More Love:
Ron and his kids...second photo down...

I want to be more conscious of what I am growing
starting right now.

I want to take responsible for what I grow.
I want what I grow to be a loving gesture to the earth
and my soul.
