This is the message
I gave in the Closing Ceremony
for the Pacific Symposium '07
on Sunday.
You can become a gardener too!
SO go for it!

Photo by Nicole Nash. Leslie right before the Closing Ceremony at this year's
Pacific Symposium November 7-11, 07. You can hear the brief and important
talk below.
A weary Leslie, takes a little breather while waiting for the previous speaker
to finish. I had been up past midnight, up in the middle of the night, and then
drove to the Catamaran by around 8:30 AM.
Nicole Nash, a new friend, took this picture of me, her husband Ron,
and their kids. I am sure they were all feeding me in that moment.
You can hear the rousing Closing Ceremony I gave below.
Dave, the sound man for the Pacific Symposium '07,
Extended himself to me yesterday.
He made me a copy of the Closing Ceremony I did
on Sunday November 11.
I was surprised to see that it was a bit more than 60 seconds,
as I had planned.
The people in the room were very pleased.
What I said was Historic.
It sets the stage of a Stepping UP of Enchanted Garden Activity
in the world.
There simply has to be more gardeners now.
This Closing Ceremony Charges each person at the conferene
to grow one Mini Portable Enchanted Garden,
a containing garden.
I said, start with a beet, an already grown beet.
Put it in the finest potting soil you can find.
i highly recommend Foxfarm Organic Mix.
I get mine from City Farmers' Nursery.
Go to your favorite garden shop and ask for it.
I am going ot talk to Michael, my original avo sandwich maker,
30 years ago about stocking it immediately in Whole Foods Market
Southern Pacific Region. That covers San Diego, LA, and parts of Arzona.
We have a lot of Whole foods Markets in our region.
Most Whole Foods Markets now have a garden center.
You will likely find some Enchanted Garden Products showing up
there B/4 long.
My Beloved friend Felice Dunas charged all of us at the Pac Sym
to take Our Medicine into the Corporate world now.
WFM is the largest Corporation that has its feet on the ground
that I know.
They are one of the best Fortune 500 Companies to work for
and for that matter to get stocks in.
I love Whole Foods Market.
How can I not.
Dave Sanders, now Team Leader of the La Jolla Whole Foods Market,
offered me to do a Mini Farmers' Market @ Whole Foods Market
when he was Team Leader of the Hillcrest store. That is the store
where I buy the majority of my goods that I do to buy at the
Farmers" Market.
Dave was not asking for any part of the profit from the farmers
that showed up! He wanted to help the local farmers.
He wanted to get them into the Whole Foods Market parking lot
and have them do their own thing.
That is still one project I would like to experience doing.
My niece Eva Becker gave me a Pep Talk yesterday at
our Catamaran lunch. He is a teacher up in L.A. in a Middle School.
She said, "Work smarter, not harder."
I am going to be thinking a lot on that one.
I can't keep doing it the way I am.
The results are painful in my body.
I am going to step up working smarter
and being more effective.
Working Smarter for me means creating Team.
Paris Bingo, my ally in the the Enchanted Garden,
took time to help me convert the CD Dave gave me
to Mp3, so you can all hear it NOW.
