On the Town: Daniel & Pilar's 7th Anniversary @ the Westgate
Delightful break in the routine
of prepping and executing the
Enchanted Garden Installation.
Went out with housemate Michelle
to Monday Night at the Westgate.
It was a very special evening,
the 7th Wedding Anniversary of
Daniel Hendrick & his wife PIlar.
Daniel sings from a very deep expressive place!
Oh, so that's what
it feels like to be fully expressed
in Daily Life!
He is a fabulous Opera singer.

A highlight for me at the Westgate celebration Monday night was hearing
friends of Daniel Hendrick singing opera on the same song...
one after another...from various parts of the room.
It was incredible.
Here, Gene-O, brother of Ron Nash,
and Sacha Boutros share a little hello embrace.
Both sang on that Opera song dedicated to
PIlar. She soaked it all in while gazing eye to eye
with her husband Daniel on stage.
The selections on Sacha Boutros' website
from her new new CD "Speak Low" are full of life and energy!

Some of her selections on the forthcoming CD, "Speak Low" are up
for Music Awards.

Ron, the husband of Nicole Nash,
is the brother of Gene-O Cole.
Gene-O is one of the "Tribe"
that sings with Daniel Hendrick,
an incredible Opera singer I met a number of years back
at the Slow Foods Annual Fundraiser.
Spending time with Nicole was one of highlights
of the Pacific Symposium '07. She initiated
being part of the Enchanted Garden Installation.
Nicole made an art painting called Quan Yin in the Enchanted Garden.
She does art at fundraisers.
We met at this year's Slow Foods fundraiser.
I have a very warm healing feeling when I recall
her participation over the four days of the Pac Symposium.
So, Ron and the kids came down on Sunday.
They sat left of me in chairs while I did the Closing Ceremony.
Nichole took some photos.
I had heard for a number of years that
Daniel Hendrick and friends-- singers and artists--
get together at the Westgate Hotel in downtown San Diego.
I have wanted to go down there for years.
Tonight was the night!
It is the start of a whole new chapter in my life.
I have had feelings about being part of this tribe.
Incredible energy! Daniel came on before 10 PM.
I asked Julio to call him up before the time that
Michelle Dexter, my companion needed to get home.
She teaches early Tuesday morning.
