Tomorrow I start fasting! My fears leading the way.
4 Fasts later (MC); 3 x 30days, 1 x 15days, and I feel so much better. However these past 3 months I've been on Cipro for a reoccuring UTI/Yeast Infection (2 separate rounds of 10day x 2 500mg per day), and the very day I stop it is back. I've taken on cranberries and they are amazing, but the UTI keeps coming back (as well as the yeast infection - within 24 hours. 6 watermelons later and I feel great! But it still came back, then I hit reality: I was thinking to do just a water fast and wasn't sure what eat for lunch, I could feel the yeast infection more and more and I hadn't eaten since morning. I decided to eat half a watermelon and worry about the yeast later. HALF WAY THROUGH THE MELON AND THE UTI/YEAST DISAPPEARED. Now I am sure this is temporary, BUT, how does alkalizing alieviate the heat and discomfort of a UTI/YEAST infection.
I know I have problems with alkalizing. It has been crazy learning that I don't have Acid Reflux - right now it is between whatever it is that is keeping this UTI going, and parasites... even though I did do a parasite cleanse and nothing came out... maybe it is still early... I am fasting tomorrow and this is my journal.
Date: 11/5/2007 3:02:05 PM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 1518 times Thank you for looking in, this will be my first journal and probably the most important fast I've been on. I did one in October last year, one in April this year, and another in June, all 3 were 30 days and over. All were the Master Cleanser.
My goal today will be starting the cleansing with cranberries and into the MC fast. After a few days of that, until the hunger is gone, I will attempt moving into a water fast. I may falter and I intend on doing that many times - when and if it happens I will just keep on trying, but always going back to the MC fast, not back to regular food. The idea is to do the water fast for at least 14 consecutive days. I am not scared, actually I am excited to see how my body reacts - and of course I am excited to see how much healthier I will find myself!
So off I am to the kitchen. I will be using the clear stevia (so much better than the powdered one), and lots of water.
HERE WE GO!
