I wonder if I can install the 9.1 os on this new
G4 Ibook?

I would not want to lose the new software
that I inherited today when I bought a
G4 Laptop Ibook to replace the two old g4’s that
have info I can no longer read without
great effort to transfer the info from an
older Performa 6200CD.
I can likely use the new software on my Imac.
I will experiment and see.
Is it worth attempted this time and
energy wise?

O.K. I learned a lot today.
Was it worth it?
I succeeded in opening an account
on BOX. NET and also getting somewhat functional
on STANZA an ebook reading program.
I uploaded a file to my IPHONE
of the first chapter of PLANT YOUR DREAM
BOOK ONE. I can read this now on my
IPHONE.
I would still need to learn how to
declie a file from Box. net.
It was greuling, intensely emotional
learning to do all this.
In the middle, I purchased
an G4 Ibook with Leopard
and Photoshop and Indesign
on it.
I can read some of my APPLEWORKS
old documents.

I worked with her
at the Yom Kippur
with the kids and the
Sugar Cane pots that
the kids were using
to plant their KEEP THE BEET
beet seeds.
She has a non-profit.
She wants to take baby steps
to integrate the EARTHSMART ware
with a project to sell items earth friendly items
to restaurants along route 66.
She wants to make sure that
this can be set up so she can
get credit for making these connections.

I do not know how to get in edit mode on
Pagemaker.
Going to check on oatmeal.

layout mode to edit mode in Pagemaker 6.5.

Just woken up from a dream.
Something wild, I did not know was
about to take a nibble out of me.
What a dream.
What a turnaround of events!
I went looking for the wild,
and it found me!
I went to one of my favorite places,
that was so very important to me
when I was young.

in my dreamworld.

I am dissapointed that Apple has not made
it easier to open documents written in their
old programs on the new Imac and beyond.

Taking time to do a ”Save As” of an old High Holiday
Writing on the Performa 6200CD into a Microsoft Word
Format so it can be opened on the Imac.
This, and many, many other documents,
were written in Appleworks. I had to
save this in Microsoft Word to be able to open it
without losing words.
This would be a time consumer process.

Made progress yesterday.
what to do today?
I was able to make changes
on the old PC.
That is where my old websites are stored.
I want to back up my Imac
and get it ready for work on the logic board.
The optimum would be to have a the new laptop
here before I turn it in.
What to do next?
Back up?
Also...
Clear the Performa 6200 CD and get that ready
for give away.
Pay some bills.

I am still under the influence of
the HOARDERS Videos I watched
Monday night.
I had a radical personal experience
with hoarding when I helped my father
cleanup for a number of days at the end
of the summer before last. This came after
struggling for years with our own basement
here at the ENCHANTED GARDEN INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY.
I and others had allowed a Hurculean task,
the cleanup of an accummulation of stuff
that was extremely unhealthy.

The GREAT EARTH CLEANUP
proceeds.
Funbling around my bedroom desk
where the old PC has stood for months
surrounded by clutter of bottles and supplements
that look something like a hospital ward
and trash site. The vdeos I watched
the a couple nights ago have helped me
get a perspective on eliminating some of
the clutter.
It is nice to have the desk clear.
It took a couple hours,
with one 20 minute need
to stop and write some checks for
the kitchen/ upstairs bathroom repairs that
are ongoing since the ceiling feel down

and showed me how to change where
the server was directed.
I am not sure I could repeat what I did alone.
I want to see if I can open the CUTE SITE BUILDER
program on the other PC. I want to get rid of that one
too, out of my room....that would be a big energy
movement.
