Post Cleanse Update!!! 18 y
Final Post
Thank you all for your support and advice!!!
This will be my last post on our blog :-( We just wanted to update everyone on our post cleanse progress. We are continuing to drink a lemonade for breakfast everyday, which really has kept the detox going. I lost one pound per day during our first week post cleanse, but that eventually tapered off. I lost 6 pounds on our 6 day cleanse, and another 5 throughout the following week. Mom experienced similar results.
Neither of us can believe the rejuvination of our skin because of the cleanse! Our skin is softer, smoother, and mo ... read more
Breaking Cleanse Today 18 y
Bitter Sweet
We are sorry to tell you all that we are breaking our cleanse :-( We have been invited out of town for Father’s Day weekend, and we will not be able to maintain the cleanse while we are away. We are both very disappointed that we haven’t reached day 10 yet and have decided to break our cleanse prematurely.
This is our second Master Cleanse. The first one we went for 5 days, and this one we are breaking after 6 days. It had become obvious to me over the passed few days that long-term cleanses were something you have to ”condition” yourself for, and to strive for 40 days when we ... read more
Day 5 18 y
A good day
Picture courtesy of the Kerminator :-)
Today is a very ”up” day for mom, and I feel the same for the most part. Her first two days were her ”down” days, and my down days didn’t start until day 3 and continued through part of the morning of day 4. I hope tomorrow is my up day.
We both seem to have gotten passed our cravings for food. The occasional commercial on TV will have us looking at eachother saying ”doesn’t that look GOOD!” But we keep telling ourselves that food will always be there, and our bodies need this. When we’re finished with this cleanse we will begin to ma ... read more
Inspirational Messages -- Day 5 18 y
Out of the Dark into the Light
There were days that I didn’t understand...
Why did God let me slip through his hands?
Pain and despair was all that I knew.
No where to go and choices were few.
Over the edge with one leap of faith...
Is it the end or beginning I face?
On did I soar to what Fate would bring.
Funny thing...
On the way down...
I sprouted wings.

Day 4 18 y
What have I gotten myself into???
Today is my down day :-( It really began yesterday about 3 hours before I went to bed for the night (around 5pm) and again I slept almost 12 hours!!! The majority of the day yesterday I felt as if I’d taken ephedrine, and as I’ve said, I haven’t touched the stuff for over 3 years!!! But I crashed from this ”high” around 2pm and spiraled downwards into a panic attack. I felt dizzy, with a STRANGE pressure in my head, and a little nauseous at times. I kept telling myself that the toxins have been stirred up, and I’m feeling ”speedy” because all of those trapped toxins are circulatin ... read more
Day 3 18 y
Obvious detox symptoms
We had another 12 hours of sleep last night! Luckily my little one is in a growth spurt and is sleeping so long!! But I found it difficult to go to sleep last night, and when I woke up this morning I felt as if I had taken speed. I haven’t touched the stuff for over 3 YEARS!!! This cleanse truly is working for me, and it makes me wonder what else I have in store for me in the upcoming days, being that I am so thoroughly polluted.
My mom had a migrane all day yesterday, and stayed in bed or lounged in her chair. She vomited after drinking her first lemonade, but she drank a bunc ... read more

Who I am and why I am cleansing...
I am sorry to say that I was unable to upload a picture of myself :-( I am waiting on a responce from the webmaster detailing why I was unable to. I wanted to show you guys my smiling face, which for the passed several years my smiles have been few and far between. What follows is a brief description of my life:
I was born in Texas, moved to Florida at the age of 2 years old, and have lived in and around the Tampa Bay area ever since. I cannot imagine living anywhere else in the world!!! I am in love with the beauty that surrounds me. Florida is as close as you can get to the trop ... read more
My favorite prayer 18 y
God, please hear my words...
Dear God,
I thank You for this day.
I thank You for my being able to see and hear this morning.
I’m blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and you keep on blessing me.
Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to You.
I ask you now for your forgiveness.
Please keep me safe from all danger and harm.
Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude.
Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.
Please broaden my ... read more
Day 2 18 y
Dog tired!!!
Know the feeling???
Yesterday I coerced my daughter to lay down for a nap that turned into a 12 hour sleep session on both our parts. I only got down 3 lemonades yesterday accompanied by over 3.5 quarts of water. Not quite the amount I needed, but what can you do??? I sleep when I need it, and my little one apparently need it as well.
I woke this morning at 3:30 am (what an early time to rise) and discovered I was swelling in my hands and feet and around my ankles as well. I decided to give it a break on the SWF for today and opted for the laxitive tea instead. Today I will ... read more
Day 1 18 y
Out with the bad!!!(6-6-6) Back to the good!!! :-)
Were back :-) We had done a five day run a few weeks ago but caved...
Now we are ready to jump on board and enjoy the ride!!! So far the ride is off to a smooth start -- tea last night, SWF this morning. Now for the lemonade that we have both come to enjoy. Upon reading Zoe’s blog we’ve decided to incorporate a Peppermint tea into our diet as well, whenever we feel the need for ”comfort food”.
We have yet to venture outside this morning (late sleepers) but we intend to create a ”sacred place” in which to meditate daily.
Being that we live together, we are cleansing together ... read more

Still small voice
A quiet moment
I woke up early this morning, and have just spent about an hour outside listening to the birds sing in the new day, feeling the fresh morning air on my skin, and thanking God for bringing me to this point in my life. I was in awe of the stillness with in me, which is not like me, by the way. I am filled with a hope and conviction so strong that it moves me to tears, and the comfort one gets from such an emotion cannot go unmentioned. I can only hope that God manages to fill me with the same determined resolve in the upcoming days. I have noticed that it is only wh ... read more
Preparing for Master Cleanse -- Introduction 18 y
Information about my mother and myself, our reasons for fasting, and a word of thanks
An Beautiful Invitation
It’s been said that keeping a blog about our progress on the Master Cleanse would keep us honest, so we’ve decided to do just that!
My name is Cori and I am 30 years old. My mother’s name is Debbie and she is 50 years old. We live togther, and are undertaking this cleanse together as well. I don’t have any medical conditions to speak of other than poor circulation caused by 12 years of smoking over a pack of cigarettes a day. I have acute anxiety disorder which I have gained control of through a self help program over the last 15 weeks. I still seem t ... read more
