Growing up in Hong Kong, it was common knowledge that chi (or ki or prana or mana, etc) exist, and this chi can be used to heal or kill. Qigong is something that we all know about, but few will have the time, the interest, or the discipline to practice. (Not to mention that martial arts studios are traditionally associated with the Triads, just not something that ”good kids” want to meddle with.) With that background, energy healing has always been a mistery to me.
