Pride, Power, and Purpose...
We all are the sum of our existence.
Just like you; I am many things to many people...
The key is what or who are we really??
We all know, exist as a living being, and we can not change our physical body... So the first thing in life is to come to learn what our core beliefs are; then to adjust them to make us available to help others... The real question comes down to where will we spend Eternity?? Either with others, we have learned and shared life’s events or by our own selfish person... The real answer is not pleasant for ... read more

The victory that overcomes the world
Living in the Balance of Grace and Faith
At our Gospel Truth Seminars, I always take time before meetings to talk with friends and partners. One of the most common questions I’m asked is “What do I need to do to receive the blessings of God?” It is usually followed by this explanation: “I have been praying, reading my Bible, going to church, and paying my tithes, yet I don’t seem to be able to get my prayers answered.”
In that question and explanation lies the root of the problem: They have fallen into the trap of linking God’s response to their performance. They have not properly un ... read more

Dead Works

John 6:28, ’Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?’
JOHN 6:24-29
All throughout history, mankind has been seeking ways to do the works of God. Everyone has a knowledge within them of the reality of God (Rom. 1:18-20), and a desire to be right with Him. However, just as with these Jews, few agree with the Lord as to how to do it. These Jews were willing to do something to obtain salvation, but they were not willing to commit themselves to Jesus and accept His gift.

My Bible Study with Mormons
- March 21, 2018
Three weeks ago, two Mormon girls knocked on my door and asked if I would like to watch a video about Easter. I agreed. After the video, I invited them inside to warm themselves from the cold. We sat down and talked about life and faith. At the end of the conversation, I asked if I could pray for them. Before they left, they asked if they could come back next week and read Scripture with me. I had told them that I had studied the New Testament in seminary.
Last week, we read John 1 to ... read more

Mark 6:52, ’For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.’
MARK 6:45-52; JOHN 6:15-21
Most of the time, we think of a person with a hard heart as being someone who is in terrible rebellion to God. While it is true that a rebellious person does have a hardened heart, in this instance, the Word is referring to the disciples’ hearts being hardened. They were, ’sorely amazed in ... read more

**In the last letter to his wife, Lieutenant Roark wrote “I don't want my sons to fight a war I should have fought. I wish more Americans felt that way. I will not live in a totalitarian society and I don't want you to, either. I believe in God and will resist any force that attempts to remove God from society, no matter what the name. This is what we all must do if we believe in what the founding fathers stood for.” **

Miracles and Blessings of God!
What defines the difference between Miracles and Blessings!
Miracles come from emergency response to the crisis in life! Unfortunately, many people live in a constant state of crisis… These ranges from financial, social, political, to very personal… Some live in almost desperate situations daily… During these times they generally have to grovel and beg for help… It is during these desperate times people must seek a miracle happening!
Yet miracles are only temporary occurrences in this ea ... read more
What happened When? 4 y
Since abundant oxygen now doesn’t seem to be all that necessary for simple life to develop into something more, there’s now an even greater possibility that complexity exists somewhere other than here.
Charles Darwin, father of evolutionary biology, wrote in 1871 that life first emerged in “warm little ponds”, which he imagined to be small wells of water and chemicals, heated by the sun and surrounded by rocks and air. With these few ingredients and a big dose of randomness, he posited, the basic elements of life clicked together, leading to simple life forms, like bacteria. Their evolution over millions of years eventually led to the sophisticated life forms that now inhabit the planet.
These days, scientists generally agree with the idea that the original recipe for life was pre ... read more
Critical Thinking Outlines Part 3 4 y
** Critical thinking comes into play when you come to realize exactly what is happening! Remember it is not you that they are persecuting, but rather Christ in you.
What is Persecution About?
Matthew 10:23, ’But when they persecute you in this city, flee into another: for verily I say unto you, You shall not have gone to all the cities of Israel, till the Son of man comes.’
MATTHEW 10:16-26
Persecution is an inevitable part of the Christian life. Persecution is from Satan and is designed to uproot God’s Word in our lives by taking our eyes off Jesus.
We should not think it is strange to be persecuted. ’All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution’ (2 Tim. 3:12). We can actually rejoice because we are being persecuted, ... read more
Sorrow does not always include repentance. 4 y
** Our culture has rejected all 'negative' emotions. But God gave us the capacity for these negative emotions, and there is a proper use of them.
Godly Sorrow Leads To Repentance
Mark 6:12, ’And they went out, and preached that men should repent.’
MARK 6:7-12
’Repent’ comes from the Greek word, ’metanoeo,’ and literally means to have another mind. Repentance is a necessary part of salvation. Repentance may include Godly sorrow, but sorrow does not always include repentance.
Repentance is simply a change of mind accompanied by corresponding actions. There is a Godly type of sorrow and an ungodly type of sorrow. Godly sorrow leads to repentance. Ungodly sorrow, or the sorrow of this world, just kills.
Our culture ha ... read more

The Gospel Is The Power Of God
** Many do not understand why Our God Loves them this much?
The Gospel Is The Power Of God
Matthew 9:38, ’Pray ye, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.’
MATTHEW 9:35-38, 13:53-58, MARK 6:1-6
People are born again through the power of the Word of God, not through prayer. Prayer is very important, but it is not a substitute for the Gospel.
Many people petition God for someone to be saved and can’t understand why it hasn’t happened yet. We don’t have to ask the Lord to save anyone. He isn’t willing that anyone should perish. ... read more
Trade-in your Fear for Faith! 4 y
Satan tries to distract us by thinking about our problems. - Get rid of fear - replace it with Faith in the Word and Truth of God in your life and things will improve - The Truth is always there!
Get Rid Of Fear have Faith in the Truth!
Luke 8:50, ’But when Jesus heard it, he answered him saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.’
MATTHEW 9:23-31; MARK 5:35-43; LUKE 8:49-56
Jesus told Jairus to ’believe only!’ Implying that faith and fear can operate in us at the same time. This is also the reason James tells us not to be double-minded, or to waiver (Jas. 1:5-8). Fear will negate faith. We can have both thoughts of faith and thoughts of unbelief at the same time.
Fear and faith are opposing forces. Fear is actually faith in reverse. Fear is believing ... read more
Who touched me? 4 y
Trust Him completely and, because you believe, your actions will follow.
The Law Of Faith
Luke 8:45, ’And Jesus said, ’Who touched me?’ When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, ’Master, the multitude throng thee, and press thee, and you ask, Who touched me?’’
MATTHEW 9:18-20; MARK 5:21-34; LUKE 8:40-48
The multitudes were thronging Jesus. That is, they were compressing, and crowding in on all sides, so it seems strange that He would ask, ’Who touched me?’
Many people were physically touching Jesus, but this woman touched His power by faith. Many people in the crowd probably needed healing, but this person is the only one mentione ... read more
Love And Trust 4 y
** We must transfer our faith from human self-reliance and independence to reliance upon, adherence to, and trust upon Jesus Christ in all areas of our lives.
Love And Trust
Matthew 9:18, ’While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.’
MATTHEW 9:18-19
Jesus could have healed this girl by His spoken word, but He did as He was requested to do. This illustrates how the Lord ministers to us according to our faith. Jesus ministered to the ruler at the level where his faith was and didn’t rebuke his little faith (Jas. 1:5).
