Blog Description Starting to feel ALL my 52 years talking back to me...time for a change. I really like the idea of a 3+ day juice fast to kick off the 2nd half of my life...yes I do plan on living to be 104...and a fine and fit 104 too.
Situation: 25 pounds too heavy,(probably shouldn't have quit smoking at the same I hit menopause)...don't exercise nearly enough...getting depressed...generalized body aches especially in hips...frequent muscle cramps...controlled hypertension, hypothyroid, and hypercholesteremia. Plan: 3-7 day juice fast, then on to a moderate calorie plan still incorporating 2-3 juice fasting days per week. Once the 25# is gone possibly a 1 day a week fast. Increase exercise to 6 days a week doing weights and treadmill. I'm using this medium to kind of keep track of what/how I am doing/feeling as I go along. Hopefully I will get back here frequently and since the husband and kids already think I'm computer obsessed that shouldnt be a problem. Ive got the juicer and lots of fruits/veggies today and plan on starting tomorrow, 1/27/06. Enough said...lets go. |
