I did speak with a doctor yesterday. He explained that alcohol metabolizes quite differently in females to males. And yes, you're exactly right, the seizure was withdrawal related per the doctor. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. How frightening and sad, especially since your friend was trying to abstain. I hope all is well where that's concerned, and thank you so much for your words.
