First of all, I congratulate you on your journey. I of course, am one of the few who do not think you are the least bit crazy, for I am on a journey myself, and would appreciate your help.
For the past month I have done a combination of citrus juice, water, and the occasional Odwalla (maybe 4 Supergreen, and two carrot juice drinks). The only supplement I have combined this with is the Colonix program (Dr. Natura), and have gotten substantial results.
Week 1: Euphoria
Week 2: Notice weightloss/tummy went down
Week 3 & 4: Lungs are being cleared! Sinus congestion and phlegm
During all weeks: Lots of bowel movements.
Presently, I cannot help but feel disappointed. After solving a couple issues, I feel greedy - I want more. I never started this for weightloss, but I can't help but wonder why I've only lost 4 pounds. I figured - lose toxins, lose fat. Now I'm aware of my slow metabolism (da#@ it to hell), but did it just stop? My energy levels are great, and I really don't think I lost much muscle mass, but I feel I looked better 2 weeks ago.
I feel I can go longer, but I feel I'm still toxic. I'm quite broke at the moment (I know I need a real juicer), but could I add supplementation to improve my results? Would my muscles still build with exercise? Also, how can I prevent myself from feeling too bloated?
Please no lectures on healthy weight and acceptance. I just need the facts. My stomach has NEVER been completely flat or toned, and I admit, I wouldn't be so unhappy if I could finally see that muscle showing through. If anyone else knows a faster way to lose body fat through detoxification, please share. My discipline is there, so throw the advice at me - I can take a lot.
