Hi there,
The Master Cleanse archives have more than a few stories of people who broke wrong and lived to regret it. If you go to your company picnic and eat the food you are looking forward to, you will redefine the meaning of belly ache! I look forward to the story but hope it is one of resisting the urge to put the hurts to yourself.
I recently broke a one day fast after a liver flush by eating a small portion of Indian food! Big mistake!! I would never dream of not breaking a longer fast by the book so-to-speak, but thought I could get away with it for the day and a half it takes to flush the liver, but I was wrong and for the next hours was in incredible pain, made harder by knowing I had brought it on myself, and the next days my gut ached just to remind me I had done a really stupid thing.
No, OJ should be the way you go and pack on a healthy side of *sense of humor* since you have certainly demonstrated that you can resist temptation. Consider this your BIG TEST as it were....ggg. I passed a few myself and in the face of food, sort of like the huge layouts of garish but tantalizing spreads they put out on the reality show, The BIGGEST LOSER, you just delay gratification and accept that the food will always be there for you.
Let us know how it goes. I am facing a similar dilemma since I am fasting the month of June and have no hopes of being ready to slam down a beer and a steak for the 4th of July. Oh well, I love myself enough to do the right thing...ggg.
be happy, be well,
Zoe
