I don't think it would be wise to stop going to church. I would suggest you find another one that suits your and your families needs better...As the bible says in Hebrews 10:25: 25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Also, you might even suggest some of your own ideas to do in church. Sometimes even churches can get stale or stagnant in it's activities, but that's when the members can come up with fresh, new ideas. You may not be the only one feeling that way. Not to say you should revamp your churches whole system, but new charity projects, bible studies with themes not often covered, the sky's the limit, can be some things you can bring up to your church pastor.
