Yep.
I was just thinking, another reason I've been dragging my feet is the possibility of remaining in the church I'm at to try and make these things known, but somehow I think they'd take it wrong. I'd more likely be seen as "divisive", but can I assume that? That, along with the social aspect and my involvement in music. (Where else can people get to attend a free Christian concert every week, morning and evening?) I'm one of four trumpets so they really notice when somebody's missing, and I'd feel bad to leave permanently.
But...
Yesterday I asked, with ulterior motives, my older son what he learned in church that morning, and... it sounded identical to the "moral" lessons they teach at his charter school! (they use the Greek Virtues)
I think what I need to do is start preparing my family for "the day" instead of just waking them up one morning and saying "We're not going to church anymore". Gotta start with my husband, who has not shown any spiritual growth for years (that's his responsibility, but I've been relying too much on hoping something would sink in from Sunday School, which is like hoping gold bars will fall from the sky).
