Just ran across your message. Beside being diabetic (type 2) I have hypertension (hi blood pressure), emphysema (part time on oxygen), I am also gluten sensitive so I can't tolerate any wheat, barley and some other grains. So my carb intake was greatly reduced. What you say is very true. Simple carbs will wreck havoc with your health.  Diet is so very important. I eat mainly veggies with specific fishes, uncaged natural chicken, organic beef and some legumes.

You can introduced yourself in any forum on CureZone. I did mine on the diabetes forum some years ago.

PS By the way I am a male 86 years young. Don't know how old I am!
