Thanks for that Bowking. Sorry it took me so long to reply... it has been a tough winter!!
As for the IDEA, I love it. There are many applications for little solar generators - for back up power, or in remote locations, etc.
However, I have to say that this particular set up seems a bit overpriced for the output. I suppose that is the knock against solar in general, but I cannot help but believe that there is better solar technology that is being kept from the market for one reason or another [mostly because it is a threat to oil].
There are research places that have small solar setups that produce much more than the "12 V X 1 amp = 12 Watts" in 8 hours, as this one does.
Also, that it uses lead-acid batteries, which are really yesterday's technology.
But I do like the concept!! Sorry I am not more positive about it....
