Hoping you made it passed day 3- I too am water fasting, and I am on day 3 - I have no set time frame, yet am hoping for maximum benefits. I guess passing the test of temptation and keeping the benefits of the fasting process, and not wanting to remain in poor health has made me walk away. I will have many more temptations to go through, as I am the cook in this household, with 5 kids, and a husband to prepare food for. Be very careful when breaking your fast, and if you break it do not allow your self to go nuts, you can always start again. I did a 10 day water fast about 4 years ago, and then after breaking it I gained everything back, and within 6 months I gained back double. I guess I was not ready to deal with the real issue, which was a control issue. The weight loss is a side benefit, but once you have control over your eating and practice moderation, and healthy food choices, you are more free than you were before.
