Yeah! I am so excited you decided to go for it. Advice? You must order and read Toxic Relief by Don Colbert (http://www.amazon.com/Toxic-Relief-Restore-Through-Detoxification/dp/1591852137/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1252283396&sr=8-1). It's broken down in three parts: Why you should fast, how your body gets toxic, etc.; What to expect, why your body will do what it will do; and then the spiritual aspects of it all. I had NO surprises. You will understand (and expect) random body odor, bad breath, headaches, abscess (yes, it was gross, but better out than in, eh?), and so on. Most people quit because they think it the fasting that it is making them feel bad when in reality, it is the detox that is uncomfortable.

Enemas? If you are not having BMs, you must. As the book will explain, the toxins are released through your intestines or colon (can't remember), and if you are not having a BM, they are getting reabsorbed and you really aren't gaining anything. One way you can make sure you have a BM is a psyllium shake. It's psyllium husk and liquid bentonite. Bentonite is clay that is like a magnet for toxins. (Sonne's #7 detoxifying clay is a great brand (http://www.sonnes.com/products_line.html). Whole Food has a good organic canister of psyllium husk. Sorry to tell you this, but the psyllium shake tastes like you fell face first into lake mud. I have tried other flavored brands, but they just don't work as well. Once you get some, I will tell you the most painless way to drink it.

I realize that's probably overwhelming and too much, but I don't know what I would have done without my friends' support.
