Myself i think fruit and vegetables are both crucially important to good health. My mom was telling me that saliva plays an extremely important role when we eat . Digestion begins in the mouth, when we chew and swallow. The glands that act first are in the mouth, the salivary glands. Saliva produced by these glands contains an enzyme that begins to digest the starch from food into smaller molecules. My mom pointed out that when we take a whole food and juice it, we do not get the benefit of those digestive enzymes. While some believe juicing is helping the body out by doing a process for it, others believe it is an unnatural act that actually harms the body. If I drink fruit or vegetables, they will not come from a juicer, but rather, a blender. Add This Message To Your CureZone Favorites!
