Yes, I do realize that. I was surprised to think about some friends I love. I always found them attractive. I realized the other day that, if someone didn't know them and just looked at them, they are actually quite plain or even ugly looking BUT I never noticed that!
I used to play a mental game of sorts. They say that everybody is loved by somebody else. I tried to figure out what was loveable about people. It's easy with most people, the challenging thing was for the worst-looking, most scary or pitiful people who are also strangers. I tried to figure out something good about them. Do they have a sense of humor? Kind eyes? Bashful and shy? until I could see something or at least guess!
