Blog: TODAY I will not drink alcohol!
I am making it guys. It is Saturday morning on day 13 and in a few hours I will be going to the lake with my fiancée's family. I will be tempted to drink, but I know that I wont. Even if it is offered to me, I know I have to refuse it. Last night (Friday) I had very strong urges to drink. I just went to sleep early and now that I woke up at 3AM, I won't have to worry about it for another 4 hours since they don't sell it here until 7AM. I can't do it though. I been this long and if I drank now it would be bad.
My Kombucha Tea is almost ready. It will be ready to bottle up in a few days. I'm kind of excited about it and it doesn't look as gross as I thought it was going to be. It has a full culture on top just like the one that I originally started with. It smells like vinegar on the surface but know that after I bottle it for a few days it should taste good. I am making it by the book and so far everything is looking good.
I contacted an outpatient rehab service that said they were backed up until September the 8th. I was thinking, GREAT, a lot of help that would be. Then after I told the lady that there was no way I could wait that long, she told me to come in and fill out paperwork and they would see me. Money is a hard thing to refuse:) I plan on going Monday morning some time and also going to my doctors appointment. Have a good weekend!

i definatly recomend raw superfoods and green juice! your body is not so much asking for alcohol, but for those whose name is derived from the same root word: alkaloids! alkaloids are simply compounds found in amaking foods which have an alkalizing, medicinal and/or strong effect. kombucha is a great start. just start adding a new thing in everyday. today could be a celery (not carrot) based fresh green juice. tomorrow could be raw cacao. then vitamineral green. then pure syenrgy. then maca. then medicinal mushrooms. then blue green algae. then any of the billion foods out there. not all foods agree with all people, thus their numerousness is beneficial. dont like blue green algae? try spirulina. all are good, awesome and best ever. a great source of info is my site http://www.yogiraw.com. check out the online friends links page for sources of superfoods. all these superfoods will definatly by far make you higher than you have ever been, sometimes right away, and sometimes after years of remineralizing and revitalizing the body. you rawk and are a superhero. are you into the 12 steps?
