Blog: Master Cleanse for Mind and Body
Yesterday was busy but not too long at work (only 10 hours) which was nice. Then I went grocery shopping afterwards and wasn't bothered by the smells or temptation. At home I had a quiet evening with my girls.
My face is starting to clear up. I did a face mask and micro dermal abrasion last night to speed the process up. It felt nice to pamper myself. The funky smell I seemed to be emanating has dissipated (yippee) and my glands are less swollen. Even my stiff muscles feel better today and this morning's SWF had almost clear BMs which is a far cry from usual.
I must admit that the break in detox is nice but hope I continue the internal scouring again soon. It shows how our cleansing really is like an onion and I feel like I've completed one skin of many toward a healthier body.
I know I still have a long ways to go though. I can still feel something bloated and tender on my lower left abdomen when I do my nightly stomach message. All the same I am enjoying my little reprieve.
Here's to the ZONE,
Peanut

I might suggest trying an Aspirin mask next time you run into some break-outs.
It doesn't stay on your skin very long (10 minutes or so - more, if you feel comfortable while cleansing).
It is like a mini something-peel (I can NEVER remember those names).
What I do:
Put 4 uncoated (or micro-coated) Aspirins (actual Bayer-type) in a spoon, and add 4-5 drops of water on top of them.
Wait 15 seconds, until the water is apsorbed.
Dump in a cup (or small bowl) and add in 1 tablespoon of honey. Mix thoroughly, so the aspirin break up into bits.
Apply to your face (I recommend getting undressed if you're doing this before a shower, or cover your clothes, since this can be messy until you get the consitency right).
Leave on for 10-10 minues (more or less, depending on your comfort level while cleansing).
Dampen your hands and massage your face with the mask still on. It will help exfoliate.
Rinse your face 5-6 times with water, or get in the shower and wash off.
I have found it to reduce puffyness and redness caused by breakouts, smoothen your skin, and make it very soft.
I try to do it every 2-3 days, and spot-treat (with just 1 aspirin) if I break out in between days.
Hope this helps, cleansing or not! :)
