Blog: The Master Cleanse Express
Often, in the Master Cleanse Forum, you will read where someone writes, "This salt water flush is killing me!". Or someone writes, "I can't stand the cayenne, I can't do this!". There is a wide range of statements which help or hurt your efforts to clean and heal your body. Your word is like a wand, or a sword. It can tear down, build up, or even fall silent, in denial. Your self-talk, or self-thinking, is a very important aspect of the Master Cleanse. What you think really does matter.
I learned this lesson, when I was confronted with healing my own cancer. I had said the words aloud, in response to a life crisis, "This is going to kill me". Well, my body took that command and ran with it. I do not know what I was thinking when I know that, in my life, I tend to attract what I think. I am grateful that I was able to stop the process before the consequences became severe. The point I would like to share is that by thinking negative thought, and without the awareness of the power of my thought and my word, I manifested something I really did not want.
The Master Cleanse compells me to pay attention and without "cover" of food, I can no longer enjoy the comfort of denial. This is a perfect time for me to explore new territory. To get more intimate with myself, through breath and meditation.
I would ask you to consider, slowing down your own focus at some point in your cleanse, and to contemplate, with each breath, what you are releasing, and what you are willing to do, to let the old sheet in your life go. Think also, about what you are taking in and what is the cost of your behavior on your life.
One of the challenges of the Master Cleanse is mastering your thoughts so your body feels supported. Consider the commitment you are making with yourself, how much do you respect your own word? These choices may not be life-breaking, but they can be life-giving, and supportive to the person who counts the most...You!
Think good thoughts, speak highly of yourself....

The Power Of Your Thoughts
The greatest power we ever got is the power of our thoughts.
There is an Intelligence inside us that can elevate our life
at the highest level.
Everyone should learn to collaborate with this Intelligence
which is organized to react on our intentions and to create
with us a life of abundance and happiness.
Freedom, happiness, richness, love, friendship, health and wealth
are our birth right.
We have been created to live our life in freedom, health and wealth.
If our life doesn't look like that, it means we block ourselves by
our thoughts. Our thoughts are very powerful instruments we use to
either create happiness and wealth, or sickness and poverty.
If your life doesn't look like what you're dreaming of, it means you
have thoughts which go against you. Your thoughts create your life.
If you want to change your life, change first your thoughts.
You can choose your thoughts. Nobody in the world can put a thought
in your head without your permission. Your mind belongs to you! It's
your job to control your thoughts! You are the master of your head,
you are the guardian of your thoughts. You can change them. Choose
those thoughts who will bring you the results you want.
Never think a thing you don't want to happen.
Read that again: never think a thought you don't want to become true.
It means: don't think anything negative about yourself if you don't
want this thought to become real. If you don't want to be stupid,
stop thinking you are. If you don't want to be fat, stop rehearsing
in your head how fat you are now. If you don't want to loose your
boyfriend or girlfriend, stop thinking about this possibility.
Instead of these destructive thoughts, choose thoughts which reinforce
you. Choose to think how intelligent you are, and you will be! Choose
to think how beautiful you are, and you will shine like a star! Choose
to think you are loved, and you will!
Thoughts are energy. Every thought carries an energy level.
Your choice: you choose thoughts which lower your energy level,
or you choose thoughts which increase your energy level.
It's in your hands! Or better: it's in your head! How you will
feel and act depends on what you think. Every action and emotion
is preceded by a thought.
You can choose thoughts which block you, or even paralyze you.
It isn't any more difficult to watch your thoughts to be able to
choose them consciously. It's just a matter of exercise and
consciousness.
Once you've learned how to become the master of your thoughts,
you become the master of your life!
If checking your thoughts seems too difficult for now, you can
start watching your mouth. Never let come out of your mouth something
you don't want to happen! Never wish a bad luck to anyone if you don't
want this to realize. Watch your mouth, watch your words, watch your
thoughts, and become the creator of your own life!
Your life does not depend on others. It depends on your own ability
to master your thoughts.

I have noticeably lost weight but fortunately threw my scale out years ago. I go by my clothes and when I got a massage the therapist remarked that I had lost weight. My neighbors have noticed and if you do the cleanse by the book, you will lose weight if you have weight to lose. I believe the book says if you are underweight, the cleanse may even help normalize your weight. If you have not read the book yet, you can find a copy under my blog entry, "Master Cleanse Basics". http://curezone.com/blogs/m.asp?f=770&i=5
The major benefits of the cleanse are cleaning out the "gutters" so-to-speak, and so your digestion and elimination are so improved that you will utilized your post-cleanse food better and this also contributes to good body maintenance and additional loss of weight because of better body performance.
Have a great day...
be happy, be well,
Zoe

Greetings Zoebess,
I must say that I found your words just as inspiring as Inekes'. I think I read some where that you are somewhat of a veteran of the MC. Hopefully you can help guide me once I am ready to do my MC. I felt that since I am new to all of this, I should do do a colon and parasite cleanse first, followed by my first liver flush, and then do a 10 day MC. I am hoping that my decisions are sound ones. I will begin the process this Sunday. If you have any input, I would greatfully accept it.
One should strive to understand what underlies sufferings and diseases - and aim for health and wellbeing while gaining in the Path. [Buddha]

Thank you for your kind words. I think that your plan you have is great. The more preparation for the Master Cleanse, the more productive the cleanse. Doing the Master Cleanse *after* those other cleanses will sweep out lots of the debris from dead parasites too. Depending on your level of parasite infestation, you may also expect to feel a little funky at first, but forge on. Body maintenance is something which will become necessary for those of us who wish to keep our immune systems in as good a shape as possible. My goal is to never have to be in a hospital unless I am visiting a friend or family member!
The liver flush is a great idea. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask them in the Liver Forum since those folks are super supportive. I always do one or two flushes before Master Cleansing and one or two after depending on the length of the cleanse.
Have a great day and best of luck with your cleansing path...
Blessings,
Zoe
