Blog: Juicing for 30 - take 2!!!
Today is my 43rd day on the fast. I had no trouble maintaining the fast on the the trip. It was much easier than I thought. I kept my schedule of two juices a day and it went great.
The trip was wonderful! We had so much fun with my sister. The bachelorette party was great!!!! It was so wild, but I only had water to drink. The clubs and bars were so cool. And three different guys hit on me! That totally amazes me. After all, I am an old married lady. (not really that old - 28) But I have had three kids and it feels good to know you still have it!
As far as the fasting itself goes, I am sort of at a crossroads with it. I want to maintain it for about another week. After that, I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I'm not sure how long it is safe to continue. If a person had a lot of weight, maybe. But I am well within the normal weight for my height now. I'm getting closer to the lower side of the healthy weight range, too. My big goal was 120, and today I was 128. I'm getting really close! I thought about trying to hit 115, but I'm afraid it might be too low.
I don't know about eating again. I'm really kind of afraid to start eating again. I've gotten so used to my juice! I don't know how it will feel to eat food again.
Otherwise physically I'm great. I have now lost 30 pounds in 62 days - 21 in 43 days of fasting. My total weight loss since I went vegan at the end of September is now 47 pounds! That's amazing! I'm really glad. My depression is still gone. My mood is so stable and relaxed. I'm just really a happy person again. And I feel confident and pretty for the first time in 6 years!

| My sister - the bride to be - was shocked by my weight loss! She called me 'tiny.' And the dress was such a fiasco that I can barely believe it. The store ordered an 8 instead of a 6 and it is HUGE. It will almost need to be remade!! I honestly think the six would have been too big, too. We ended up going somewhere else and trying bridesmaid dresses on, and the sixes were all too big! Im searching for a seamstress now!

Isn't it great and a blessing to have this problem?
I am LOOKING FORWARD to the dilemma of needing to have my clothes taken in!
You are a blessing to plant the seed of that thought in my mind!
Right now I have thrown out all my fat clothes and have a closet full of darling clothes, many of which I have NEVER EVEN WORN! Every time I approach them in size, it is as if I have a panic attack and eat everything that isn't nailed down! These means that I've so limited my current wardrobe I look pathetic! But I'm done with this dysfunctional yo-yo dance, and I'm determined to wear my skinny clothes this summer!
