Blog: Trichotillomania and 40 Day Fast
Last night was rough. I had a massive headache, and was really hungry. This morning is much better. I just couldn't bring myself to drink more Smooth Move tea. I suppose I didn't want to wake up with cramps. I did do a salt water flush and I must say it was quite successful....if ya know what I mean.
Anyway. I am having my first lemonade drink of the day. Headache is still there. I guess I will try to relieve it with some essential oils.
I must rejoice in the fact that as lousy as I was feeling yesterday, I didn't pull one hair off of my head. Praise God!!!!
Will post later....Have a blessed day.

one thing to consider about senna (the main ingredient in smooth move) is the some people are sensitive to it ( like me) i can't do much senna without getting major cramps. so much so that i have quit using senna altogether for good. there are plenty of ways to get the bowels moving. if senna doesn't agree with you try the salt water flush (gues you have already) or oxypowder or colonix program or triphala (an ayurevedic herbal compound) etc. there are many options.
are you doing the master cleanse? if so you might want to consider adding some liquid minerals ot it. the maple syrup is low in minrals due to the fact that they filter out most of them before packaging it. this is a good brand at an excellent price

As soon as my head stops hurting, I will take a look at this web site you have recommended. Thanks for the suggestion. I am definitly going to have to do something different about the tea. I am doing the Master Cleanse, and the maple syrup content I have reduced in the recipie to 2 TBS and the added sweetness comes from Stevia. I have Candida and I don't want to aggrivate it. Minerals you say?? I'll look into that too.

The headaches will get better. I think mine did on day 4 or 5. I'm on day 11 and am feeling super!! Some days I'm crabby and short tempered and some days are like today. Put a damp washcloth over your forehead and eyes, then cover that with a heated up rice bag (if you have one) and that will help.
Hope things are better,

Thanks Midge,
I will try that. I almost can't move. I homeschool the kids, and because I can't seem to do it today, they are driving me nuts. Maybe I should make this a movie day.

I home school too! I school 3 kids, G-15, G-13, B-11. How many do you school? What curruculum do you use? We use SOS by Alpha Omega.
Have a great 'movie day'!

We homeschool B-8, G-7, G-5, and then I run after a 3 year old and feed a 6 month old. We use a varied approach. Learning at Home by Ann Ward, Abeka, Rod and Staff, and some books from American Publishing if I agree with the material. Good to hear you are homeschooling also. We can encourage each other on those low days.

Oh MY! And I thought I had it rough sometimes; well you sure have me beat!! I remember those days of little ones; little sleep, little sex, little time for myself, little everything!!
And I could never put my own homeschool program together, I'm just not that organized. So, my hats off to YOU!! We used Abeka for about 6 years, it just got too expensive. I really like the Alpha Omega now.
