Have you ever had your heart broken? I have, more than once. Have you ever noticed that emotional pain can sometimes manifest as actual physical pain in the area of the heart organ?

I personally do not believe it is a coincidence that poets and musician throughout the ages have used the heart as a metaphor for the seat of the emotional life. The physical organ known as the heart is a powerful instrument, and in my opinion is very little understood. Scientists prefer to study the brain, because they believe that is the seat of consciousness. I disagree, I believe it is located in the heart.

There are only two organs in the body that produce electric current - the heart and the brain. The brain’s electric current has been much studied and talked about. But would it surprise you to learn that the heart’s magnetic field is 5,000 times stronger than that of the brain’s? That’s right, the heart produces a magnetic field that outperforms the brains magnetic field by 5,000!!!! In fact the heart’s magnetic field can be measured with an instrument called a SQUID (superconducting quantum interference device) up to eight feet away from the body!! That means that everything within eight feet of your heart is being impacted by the magnetic field your heart is producing. Everything!!

So what determines what kind of magnetic field your heart produces? Simple - a healthy well balanced heart produces a strong and coherent magnetic field. An unhealthy heart produces a field that is scattered and weak. All of the current producing cells within the heart are creating electro magnetic energy all the time, when all of these cells are operating together and in unity, then the field it produces is strong. When these cells are out of whack with each other, then the field they produce is weak and easily disrupted.

As we learned in the previous installments of the living water series, water is the most sensitive substance on earth and will imprint with any energy it comes into contact with. Negative energy produces water crystals that are deformed and ugly. Loving and grateful energy produces water crystals that are beautifully elegant. Since the heart projects an electromagnetic field outside the body, then any water that comes into contact with this electromagnetic field will imprint with this energy. Thus a heart that is producing coherent and loving electromagnetic patterns will create beautifully symmetric water crystals. And a heart that is producing a negative and fearful magnetic field will create distorted and twisted crystals within the water that is near to it.

The heart can heal you if you allow it to energize with patterns of love and forgiveness, or it can keep you down if you allow it to energize with patterns of hate and fear.

      Magnetized Water

Water is the most responsive substance; it partakes of the color and effect of everything. The magnetism that runs through the finger-tips enters into everything that a healer holds in his hands, and thus water can be charged with that electricity more than any other substance. Again, the breath that heals is powerful enough to produce an added life in all life-giving substances. Water especially, which is a most invigorating substance, partakes of life from the breath.

Among the ancient Hindus there was a custom of giving water as a benediction to guests, which is observed even now. A Brahmin will, as a rule, first offer water to his guest, which means not only to quench the thirst, but also is like giving life to the guest. The Persians have called the water of life Ab-e Hayat, and in many verses one finds this word. Among Sufis everywhere in the East there is a custom that the Shaikh gives a loaf of bread or a glass of water, milk, syrup, or buttermilk, or a fruit or some sweet, which is accepted as something that heals both mind and body. No doubt it is not only the effect of the breath or touch, it has also the power of mind with it, which is hidden as a soul in the substance which is its body.
