Well, the weekend went well.
I ACTUALLY GOT MY FIANCE TO GO JOGGING WITH ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a quick run, it included some walking, but we did it, and we did it together. He was very happy.
Eating - we had cornbread crusted fried catfish and collard greens on Friday night. It was a big meal and I probably could have eaten less, but I didn't eat more than a yogurt on Friday, and I deserved a treat. I had a few pecans (12) Friday as well.
A few glasses of wine were consumed (3)
Saturday afernoon a little catfish leftover and a bowl of rice with romano cheese.
organic apples & organic peanut butter snack
Saturday evening chicken cobb salad, made by the fiance. It wasn't the lightest salad in the world, but it was great to eat protein and greens and a little olive oil.
A few glasses of wine were consumed (3)
Sunday was OK. I had some peanut butter, some yogurt, and I got a little restless and ate some cheese and some apples... some diet soda... I was feeling peckish, but I think I kept it totally under control.
The fiance made some pasta w/veggies in the afternoon and I ate ONLY ONE BOWL. This was huge for me, as I have always thought I was not in control around pasta. That was a great moment for me. I've always gone back to the source, had two or three servings. I used to be able to eat pasta till the cows came home. Now I choose to be happy with one serving.
I was able to keep portions in control over the weekend. Well, maybe I should say I felt I was in control over the weekend. The catfish portions were definitely restaurant sized, but I knew that, and I made the decision to indulge a little. We didn't have any unhealthy snacks. We did have some alcohol, but I'm OK with a few glasses of wine on the weekends. It's enjoyable.
So it's back to undereating for the week, trying to keep it really light. I've got a weigh in on Thursday, that I'm actually really looking forward to. I'm not sure I could eat much lighter than I am during the week, but this week's weigh in will tell me whether moderation and very light eating will do it, or whether I have to get into doing some 5 day long juice fasts, during the week.
I've got about 20 weeks till the wedding. Holy crap. That's scary.
We'll see how well I've done on Thursday.

Pasta is hard for me, too. Great job on the exercise. I have told hubby I want to get into shape so we can go hiking as a family. Even bought a used treadmill. That's my weak area right now. I put it off until I'm too sore (back, hip and leg pain) to do it. I need to make a committment to it...
Keep up the good work! 20 weeks is a LONG time to make considerable changes on your health. YOU CAN DO IT!

I go back and forth about what 20 weeks means...
thanks for the support! I tried to buy a used treadmill around here, and people just weren't calling me back. I'm happy I didn't, though, and joined a women's gym. It's really easy to do the weight circuit, and I get machines as well.

It's been really great reading your blogs and watching your beautiful progress. Seems things have looked up tremendously since you had those colonics. I have seriously been considering doing that after noticing this about your progress and upbeat enthusiasm.
Grats on getting your man to jog with you. It seems like such a feat when we can get our men to juice and jog with us. LOL
Keep up the great blogs!

Colonics are awesome. I really didn't like them but they made me feel a lot better. And you're right, since I went through three of them, somehow the transition has been easier.
I'm not sure whether I was just ready to turn things around, or if the feeling the colonics gave me (emptiness) encouraged me or what. But you feel really great about putting good things in after a colonic, and really bad about eating bad stuff. For me, I don't want to feel bloated and plugged up like I did. Ever again!
