This is just a report back on the tapping and the hymn we are practicing in choir. It is strongly emotionally tied to grief, eternity, funerals, loved ones and family. Each week we get out the piece and my immediate thought is "oh, no. Can I handle this?" So maybe I need to tap very specifically on that fear before I go to choir practice.
I have kept fingers on collarbone point during the whole time singing and each week the connection with strong emotions gets dissolved. I assume that by they time we sing for the congregation all will be fine, and I will be able to sing it at other times to. There are other songs that have a strong crying connection too. The 4th verse of The Star Spangled Banner has a strong emotional reaction that probably goes back to when I came back into the USA from visiting a foreign and communist country at one time.
I have noticed that when I have a jolt of emotion from a song or movie I feel it in the tip of my nose. This is one of the meridian points. I can't remember which one right now.
