FAmily reunion to day in UT
DD9 sore throat got worse and she went to bed. I gave her a different homeopathic remedy, a multi remedy. We postponed going down to Poc until the morning to see if she was better. So the tapping didn't work in a long-lasting fashion. She was better in the morning.
And I had to tap a few more occasions for the dizziness. I did take one dose of TI. I hope it boosts the benefit of the remedies.
I decided to just see what/who would turn up at the family reunion. My cousin S was pregnant for #3 baby. Always a stomach ache and nausea and little headache. We just did the hook up and a round of tapping. No difference. It wasn't really a good place or time to do the collar bone breathing, or to discuss any emotions, so this case no progress.
But later in the day, my little 2nd cousin, PJ, who is almost 5 was crying off by himself. As I talked to him, he was crying and saying everyone hated him and made fun of him for crying and called him a sissy and it would always be that way and he had no one to play with. He was so distressed. It was clearly the end of the world for him. I began to tap on his back and collar bone as much as he would let me. And talked for a bit. Eventually after 5 minutes or so, he let me do a little more tapping on the KC point and I said for him, "Even tho everyone hates me and they call me a crybaby, I'm a great kid ," things like that. Then I did as much tapping as he would permit. I kept tapping around and then he said, "you are making my tears go away." Very quickly after that statement, the tapping was ticklish to him and he was smiling and we put on his shoes and went to find cousins to play with him. All was well. It was awesome.
When we got back to Poc, I tried some tapping on my dad who had some ringing in his ears. I feel we made slight progress. It would get better by a slight amount, but it didn't seem the right occassion to go more into detail or to do more tapping. I'm sure there are emotional issues involved, but I also did not feel open or comfortable in asking questions that would be of an emotional content. Did some tapping for a sore had from and injury but again, not to and entire 0.
Also brother M did some tapping for a sore shoulder. It wasn't really sore to begin with but one round of tapping did relax him a great deal. That was evident. So it was difficult not having anything really painful in order to compare.

- Kids are more open-minded by Liora Leah

re: your little second cousin. I find kids to be receptive to alternative medicine--they have no preconceived ideas about it, and are much more open-minded than adults. I took my kids, when they were babies and young kids, to the same energy worker I go to and got great results. Now that they are teens, they are much more resistant to going, and when I do get them to go, they are resistant to doing the follow-up treatments at home! When the treatments help them, they say, "oh, I would've gotten better on my own anyway!" I tell them this is probably true, but the treatments cut down on the amount of pain and/or discomfort they were having and shortened the recovery time. Thanks for your blog!

I was reading some information about eczema here. DS1 thinks tapping is a funny tickling game and wiggles out before I can get a few taps going. Rashes are just terrible right now but they don't seem to be itchy besides that one day. As long as they stay dry and patchy I'm not going to worry. Funny to bump into you and read your blogs..........
