i admire your devotion and dedication to saving a planet that is literally covered with very sick... self serving... self centered... and very selfish people... (myself included)... people with such profound vision... that are unable to see beyond the tip of their nose...
the only interest most of us have is in saving ourselves... yet we are so blind that we cannot see that by allowing/tolerating those that are destroying nature we are cutting our own throats... for what...??? just so a select few can make a profit...
personally... my belief is that we cannot save anyone from themselves... and those that would destroy their own habitat just for the sake of sort term financial gain are bringing about death and destruction for us all... they will not destroy the planet... but i do think such twisted people are fully capable of destroying the human race... which will probably go the way of the dinosaur...
so it seems civilization is hellbent on destroying civilization... but it sure makes me feel better to know that there are a few sane people like you... with heart felt love and compassion... that strive so valiantly to curb the destruction that seems so inevitable...
so again... i would like to say that i so much admire you... and would only wish there were more like you on this small self sustaining biosphere we call earth... that is hurdling through the dark vastness of time and space with creatures on its' surface that seem hell bent on destroying their own life support system...
makes one wonder if perhaps the folks in the insane asylums might be the only sane ones...
lol...

Dear drofinnah, thank you very much for your kind words! I appreciate your response. I get tired and embittered some times, but for reasons that I do not know I believe things are going to get better--this belief is not based in rationality, it is just that--a belief. My Spirit Guides/Gaia tell me things about the situation on Earth that I find hopeful. Things will be chaotic for an unspecified period of time before improving. I believe that the human race, as well as the planet, will endure, but not all of Mother Earth's "children"--animal species, plant, and aquatic life--will survive. It is very interesting that you express the sentiment below that you do, it reminds me so much of a blog I posted on Spirit Speaks that is titled "Gaia Will Endure", a message from my Spirit Guides. You may want to read it as it addresses what you wrote here:

The earth is plagued with human-caused environmental degradation and destruction. Spirit tells us that times ahead will be difficult, but the Earth, and humans, will endure. The natural cycle of Birth, Death, and Rebirth will continue. Humans, as spiritual beings, have an opportunity to evolve and awaken.
