Blog: Liquid Fast 2016
It's nearing the end of the day here, the sun peeking golden through the trees and I'm back home again as of late last night - 13 days in to my 2016 liquid fast.
It's quarter to 8 - doesn't get dark here till late this time of year, and I've been tired today - haven't done much, I did get back to my Chulen practice though - I had hoped to keep it up during my 4 days in the city but it was just too busy and today is the first day since last Tuesday morning that I've got back to it. Had one Chulen pill today around the middle of my day - perhaps after this blog I will do the 2nd practice and take another one. 2 a day is recommended
It's nice to be back home with my juicer and kitchen to make all the drinks here - while I was in the city I didn't have so much on hand and couldn't juice although I bought a juice one of the days in a mall I was in - I did a lot of work and caught up with some great friends who are returning home overseas to South America now - it was a good trip. I kept up the fast diligently and am still cruising along.
I have had tea and coffee and a juice, mineral water and some kefir and cream sodas I've been making with a low GI syrup made with agave and rice syrup - I've been getting a bit of food craving the last couple days - often at the two week mark I have taken a small meal or two and then just returned to the fast and kept going. I feel like doing that but I really want to try and just push past it this time and just continue on my liquid diet. I must have lost about 10 lbs by now and am still detoxing steadily with a white tongue. I weighed myself for the first time today and was happy about the number - its a great start - I'm feeling a lot fitter and lighter and younger these last few days - I started out on this fast unwell, in pain and heavy for me, bogged down energetically and all of this is just lifting. The chulen practice seems to have made the deciding difference finally in my ongoing neck and shoulder issue - while I was in the city, sleeping in a shed ironically tho it was a bit like camping and I throughly enjoyed it - I finally got 2 nights sleep without pain and woke up very happy about the change - this was after my initial 3 chulen practices and pills - it didn't work automatically but 2 days after the practices I was much much better and really impressed!
I'm usually tired the day after returning home because getting here is always a big day of driving and stuff to get out of the city - shopping, errands, work I have to wrap up and then a big road trip - so is the cycle. Going to chill tonight in the movie room and just lay about watching some films and doing mantras, maybe reading as well. Might do my 2nd chulen practice now and then wind down that way.
Luck to all you readers out there doing similar things to improve you situation and health!
More Soon :)
