Over the past month and 2 days I've come farther than I have in a year. I had such a cloud of darkness over me but it is being lifted and I am starting to see God is so much stronger than the devil. I kept running away from the devil but on the 13th of March he showed himself to me and I decided I wasn't going to run away. That's when life as I know it changed.
Later that day God spoke to my spirit and told me all the beautiful things he had planned for my life. That I was meant to live beyond this and see greater days. That he would heal me from my infirmities, insecurities, doubts, and fears. THat he would lead my life, and his power would be shown through me. That the devil was a liar and torments me though fear, doubt, anxieties, worry, disbelief, and negitivity.
Before God showed up I tried to believe in him. I would watch church programming and listen to gospel music but it didn't effect my thinking or feelings. But when GOd came everything changed. He opened my spirit up to the possibilities in him. He told me my circumstances don't create my destiny. He told me my strongholds would be broken. He told me I have the power within me all I needed was faith. For so long I believed in the bad for me but God said contaminated perverted faith will be destroyed.
The thing is this time it's different. I feel different. I have a peace I haven't felt in years. I went to drinking and smoking weed to try to find God but he wasn't there. Now that I have him I don't want to lose him. He is everything to me. I now know this is about something bigger than me. It was a spiritual battle and God is winning. I know my life will glorify his name. Everything I went through will be used. Those that sow in tears reap in joy. My testimony will be powerful. We have the power within us to bring things into existance. It's what you think, believe, and say that brings things into existance. If you dwell on the negative that's just what you get. If you dwell on the positive that's what you get. Don't ever think life is beyond your control. It's so not.
