Blog: 30 Day Water Fast! :)
I have water fasted before & never, ever felt like this.
I think I have a virus, a bug, something like that.
There's this horrible, very familiar feeling in my stomach and I can't keep any fluid down, moving makes me nauseous, noises make me nauseous, my stomach and throat are so sensitive.
I've had vomiting from fasting before but it has never been like this, I suppose I have bad timing! I have a routine doctor check-up tomorrow which includes taking bloods so I'm not really looking forward to that.
I'm still fasting (much to my BF's dismay) & I'm trying to listen to my body as much as I can, but I've stopped weighing myself. I'm going to rest as much as possible and let myself get over this sickness.
Taking this one day at a time :)

How bad is your vomiting? if you vomit right after drinking I suggest you to stop fasting. if you think you add enough water to the system from drinking(not as frequent), then what you're experience is fine.In case you begin to lose stools stop fasting and even go get a doctor to prescribe you pills to stop it. In case it's not that bad and you think you can handle it, try to think that these symptoms are good for your body because it's trying to achieve a balance.
If you feel very weak and you think that symptoms are too extensive and you're not sure if it's normal or not then you can try drinking some kind of juice (fruit) like orange juice. don't worry about drinking juice! juice'll not bring you back with the process whereas just will slow it down. If after drinking it you feel less nauseous than before I did not worry and even continue fasting.
You need to keep in mind different people feel different symptoms when fasting, while most of them are a sign your body is trying to get more balance, in rare cases they're bad for you. for example vomiting may be a symptom comes from your nervous system. While fasting the CNS may be unstable and very irritable causing many different symptoms like shaking, anger, anxiety even depression and emotional instability - these are very good symptoms and when you get a relief from it you may feel much better.

Thank you so much for always being so helpful and supportive! Without your advice I'm not sure what I'd be doing! :)
The vomiting is severe (I think, personally), my stomach is constantly in pain and cramping. I vomit up an extremely bitter, acidic fluid along with the ordinary bile & water. It happens maybe 10-20m after drinking, sometimes less, but it always makes the pain worse and everything (including the feeling of fainting) much worse.
I did have a small cup of fresh fruit juice yesterday to see if it would settle my stomach down, but it just made me vomit quicker and harder than the plain water so I gave up on that.
I thought that continuing to fast would be ideal since even keeping down juice is difficult, I don't think I could deal with actual fruit/food at all or break the fast with broth, etc at this rate.
I do feel like this is something that will pass if I stick with it, I just don't want to be naive and do something wrong.. :)

It might be detoxing. Inform yourself, do some research online when you are not resting. Try to rest all of the time you are feeling like this. fasting should be the best way to rid yourself of a bug because you are starving it. I may be wrong but i think it is Good timing actually!...
Keep us posted.
