I have just met some people who came back from Thailand today. Out there, elephants are very valued and respected creatures. When two elephants meet who have not seen each other for a long time, they vocalise and embrace each other. They have amazing common sense and good manners. What's even more amazing is they can paint pictures. They are not trained to do this, they are just given the materials and helped by a human, just as any artist may have an assistant.
In Thailand, the paper they paint on is made from elephant dung, which is highly fibrous. The paper is made by humans. In Thailand people and elephants work with each other in this way. Amazing. Close to human?
I was watching the second video and it got stuck on 13:49 and I couldn't get it to go any further than that even though it had loaded completely into my computer. Strange, anyway I'll have to find it because it was very interesting, never heard of dung cameras before LOL. Quite ingenious if you ask me. I don't know if this problem is on my end or if there was a problem when you inserted the video you might want to check just in case.
