Blog: The Crescent Moon Shines On Us All
Hi guys, here it is Friday nite in Jordan. I was posting recipes and such in my forum, Sara's Soup Kitchen, and wishing my good friend Luella, a happy Thanksgiving when I started to laugh. I told her, "You know Muslims do not celebrate Valentine's Day." lol. We only have 2 holidays a year. They are a celebration after Ramadan (30 days of fasting) and that Holiday is Eid Al Fitr and it last for 4 days and Eid Al Adha after the pilgrimage to Mecca. It last for 4 days also. Hajj or the pilgrimage is around 2 months after the Eid Al Fitr celebration.
We do not celebrate birthdays or aniversaries, not Thanksgiving or St. Patricks Day. Most Muslims do celebrate these days silently, like maybe for the children they will have parties but parties for adults is considered Haram (forbidden). So I celebrate with you guys with tons of recipes and ideals but being I have no husband or no loves, I am alone. Am I sad, no as it is not important to me.
I am feeling a little better today, the constipation is all gone. The remedy using the pomegrante is great but taste awful. Salt and pepper on pomegrante not delicious but you go to the bathroom right away.
Still planning on my liver flush tomorrow night and plan to be very sick so not sure if I will write so you guys be praying for me. Lol, enema yuk, and double yuk. I never did an enema in my life and I am getting ready to go do my first. I want to see if I have any dead parasites plugging up my liver. My friend Jessemom1987 is helping me greatly with this preparations. I cannot buy a kit here so I made one home made. I will make a post so everyone can know how I did this.

| I remember when you'd start hearing about Valentines day around Feb 7 or so. Now it is shoved down your throat the second the Christmas decorations are down. And on Feb 15 the St Patty's decorations will go up. Just stupid days IMO

Hey tellie, you made it to my blog. Wow, I am honored. Yeah, it is wierd as with all the holidays. I remember Christmas was mentioned after Thanksgiving and now the people are shopping in July, daa, go figure.
