Epsom Salt instead of Sea Salt?

”I have recommended it to family and friends already and am sure 2 of them are planning to do it so...

I used Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulfate) instead of Sea Salt . I can't drink an entire quart of extrememly salty water so I got the Epsom Salt. It is very bitter but you only need 8 oz of water. Is this accomplishing the same type of cleansing? I have been running to the bathroom all day just as I would have with the Sea Salt . Thanks for your advice!
