I got a Mr. Juiceman juicer that way and it wasn't that good. Ok for carrots and solid things, but did waste a lot. No good for leafy veggies though. Now I've got a Dimension 200 One Gear by Eclipse, and I love it. And, it was only $173. Found out about it at Dr. Mercola's site, and he highly recommended it. It's very sturdy, not noisy and presses the juice instead of using centrifugal force, so there is no heat to it. And it's easy to clean.
