Liver flushing

Liver Flushing is quackery for the following reasons.

The symptoms, signs and lab results of biliary obstruction are those of primary biliary cirrhosis, primary sclerosing Cholangitis and overlap syndrome. People who allegedly have hepatic stones do not have these.

The gallbladder in cholecystitis does not contract properly.

The MAXIMUM diameter of a normal common bile duct is 8mm.

Many Gallstones are calcified so will not dissolve.

Why does gallstone ileus not occur with the liver flush?

Other problems: the incidence of Gallstones quoted is wrong - it is 10-20% not 90%.
