PUPPP

I am 27 weeks pregnant and have come down with a rash from the neck
down my doctor says is PUPPP. I have read some encouraging things
on another site that say Dandelion Root can help with this horrible
itch. I was wondering if a full liver/gall bladder cleansing might
be in order as the articles I've read seem to indicate there could be
some connection between improper liver funcion and bile salt retention
in this disorder.

Do you think skin detox would help? Anything you could suggest would
be appreciated, the medical community really has no clue on this one.
Their only recommended treatments are topical steroids, over the
creams and Benadryl, with oral steroids as a last resort. None of
which, for the health of my baby, are appealing treatments to
me- nor do the former seem to be having any effect on this
debilitating itch. Tweet
