Re: Menopause - Hot flashes, night & day sweats. Depression
Boy to I hear you. I have been in menopause also for five years, I am now 51. I just finally whipped the anxiety and am working on the depression. I get an occasional hot flash. What I do now is take 1/4 tsp. of "Natural Women" progesterone cream sold at health food stores, and I just oderered Dr. Schultz female formula, herbal tincture. It has Don Quai, black cohosh and some other herbs. I hear it is quite good. I am now taking another herbal tincture that I bought with Don Quai, Black Cohosh and Ginsing. Also start
juicing fruits and veggies right away, drink at least 16
oz per day. I juice one apple, three carrot, a large handful of kale, 1/2 lemon,
Celery and 1/2 of a beet. I have noticed my energy level pick up. I also have just been diagnosed with Menier's disease (disease of the inner ear that causes severe vertigo, nausea, among other horrible things) so I am trying to find a natural remedy for that. I have to use occasional Meclizine now and hate to but can't find anything else that takes the fluid out of deep middle ear. My eustachean tubes are deformed and can't drain it out. Well enough about that. Just start juicing, eat as much raw food as you can and as little meat. Do what Dr. Schultz says in his incurable or other program. The hot and cold showers will really give you a pick up. Oh, last but not least, get used to taking in some cayenne pepper tincuture. It is hot but really helps with circulatoin and energy. I just put about 5-10 drops in a little water and jug it down. WOW! Instant energy.
Take care
