Will eating only when hungry help fix a leaky gut? I usually eat on schedule, but I'm wondering if it would be more beneficial to give the gastrointestinal system as much time as it needs away from food in order to focus on repairing things, and then to signal that it's ready for food through the sensation of hunger before I start eating.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
(When I search for "eating only when hungry" it seems like everything I find is only about losing weight, which I'm not interested in.)
