Adya clarity has doubled in price since I bought the quart I have. It's $85 for 16 ounces now, but will save your life.
That was before the skirmish over it. It will remove over 200 contaminants including pharmaceuticals. If you can't afford the machine, just put a tsp in a gallon of water. What's in there for contaminants will be neutralized. It's no wonder they lied about it's value. You cannot buy clean water. Bottled water has plastic in it. It's only filtered water.
