Please Help Me Complete my Home-made Ionic Footbath Project!

I was wondering if I might please find some good help here..
So it looks like I am building my own home-made ionic foot-bath.
For those who are into building and electricity and know a lot on those topics I would really appreciate some help..! :)
Here is a photo of what I have going on..:


As you can see, the footbath is pretty much complete I believe however I would like a way to make the spoons more stable.
I'm wondering if it would make sense to tape them to the inner wall of the bath, and if so, would any tape work fine with the electricity etc please?
also I noticed for the "alligator clips" - as you can also see in the photo- the metal pieces for me to connect them to are NOT the exact same size. Is that still alright as far as sending out a proper and balanced electrical signal please?
