Hey H.M. Castor oil? Internally? I heard it can be toxic, if too much is taken, or too often?

I used it once as a laxative, it worked, but I didn't get quick results from it as was claimed, nor did it remove any parasites? Is that what it's supposed to do on it's own?

M.O.M.(milk of magnesia) worked better for me, as a laxative only.
