Re: Pinguecula --let's talk about it!

Hi Bjean,

I have a pterygium (advanced pinguecula) on my left eye that I cannot stand & would love so much to find a natural cure for it. The ophthalmologist told me that it wasn't bad enough for him to feel comfortable enough removing it because of the risk of it coming back with a vengeance. Although it isn't affecting my vision, it is super unsightly & makes me very insecure when talking with other people. I have been in touch with a doctor in Denver that performs surgery in a way that reduces the chances of it growing back from 40% to around 10%, but getting insurance to cover it is quite tricky & honestly, surgery on my eyeball is not enticing to me at all.

With all of this being said, I have just started with some things that I hope will, as you've said, help my body to rid this thing on its own.

Last week I started taking Bilberry capsules, oral Eyebright drops (the herb store was out of it in loose leaf form, which i wanted to make an eye wash with) as well as Apple Cider Vinegar internally & as an eye drop. I dilute it quite a bit because the stuff can definitely sting. Also, today I went to buy Castor Oil to possibly use in my eye, but the woman at the store didn't think that sounded like a good idea & recommended Colloidal Silver instead. My eyes feel incredibly refreshed from it already so my optimism is boosted a bit. We shall see what happens.

How are things with your eyes? Are you seeing improvement with the regime you mentioned? I must say, I too believe that the cause is something more than UV rays & dry/windy weather conditions. Although these causes make sense, I think a sluggish liver could for sure be an underlying issue.

Also, definitely when I get good, consistent sleep the pterygium looks so much smaller & better + the blood vessels connected to it are so much less red.

This thing is so annoying & I want it gone yesterday!! I will keep you posted on any/all results I have & I hope you will do the same.

Again, I too believe so much that our bodies want to be well & that they can reverse strange/annoying occurrences such as these without surgery, it s just a matter of finding the proper treatment to help initiate & move the process along.

Thanks for your posts & your interest in finding a cure. Let s do this!
Wellness I bid your way,
Jasper
