Are you kidding me? The whole freaking lip was raw. If Id wipe the scabs off: RAW. with a slight burning sensation. You could see little vessels, the whole shebang. This is exfoliative cheilitis. I even consulted with Johns Hopkins Dr James Scuibba who wrote about this condition in his PDQ Oral Disease Diagnosis and Treatment. And yes When I was dealing with the condition itself I had begun forming fordyce spots which did in fact resolve since I've gotten better. I have a few on the corners still but I had those before the EC begun. As for the ones that formed during EC, they are gone. I took every metal allergy test, food allergy test, and patch test. I have never had any sort of allergies to food or medication allergies in my life and these tests just confirmed what was already known. This was NOT an allergy. I had even gone so far as to change my shampoos, conditioners, laundry detergents, toothpaste going all natural. I went on a raw food diet despite having negative results on all allergy tests and nothing helped. The condition was only getting worse. Until I went on this treatment. Say what you will, I have improved in three months time after dealing with the condition full fledged for seven months, which yes was confirmed as exfoliative cheilitis. Im not posting to debate. Im posting to help others who feel hopeless and have tried vitamin after vitamin, topical after topical possibly excerbating the problem. I want them to know that this is an option. They can decide for themselves. I can now eat whatever I want, drink whatever I want and go about using all the normal products I used before and my lips are fine because all those things were never the problem in the first place.
