...beats me. Countless coily filaments...grow
from the pigmented gels..weave together to make
structures that ...when they get all big and gnarly..
look very much like plant stems.





...and no..I'm not eating plant stems. Besides not
gnawing on plant stems..I never find the coilies in
isolation..they are always associated with the yellow
slime/gels in stool samples. They can get quite large..
I have pics posted in the online archive of..35-40 mm
"tiny trees/alien plants". They are not growing
so large these days..and I am not harvesting 100 mm
"hairlike fibers" from the stool either. There is just
as much..if not more gels in the gut than ever..but
I suspect my "highly alkaline diet" is discouraging
the most bizarro/aggressive growths.
