Trigeminal Neuralgia

My grandma 80+yrs old, has suffered for 10years with a terrible face pain.
She says it feels like there is a knife stabbing in the side of her eye/face and that whole side of her face feels like it is burning. She has been going through such a terrible time... she is depressed and miserable, and not to mention in constant pain.

At this age, what can we look into doing to help her with this?

I feel desperate for her and would love to help her get some relief or even
GET RID of this for her!
