Re: Valerie, Enjoy

Valerie, wow, I'm so glad you enjoyed reading my post. I had fun putting it together for you. Those are simply my opinions based on my education and experience, and I’m fully aware that others may have different views for different reasons. This is just where I stand.

I realize that detergent enemas have been around a long time, and that they have been used to remove old fecal matter; however, we are in the age of knowledge: we now, for the first time ever- have an understanding of how and why our old remedies have been working for us. In the past, old remedies simply worked, and most people just knew they worked without really understanding why or how they work. Today’s generation is very lucky in this sense: we have the knowledge and understanding as to why our remedies work. The age of knowledge has allowed us to discover all the BEST remedies, and what is safe, so that we can chose the most effective protocol for our health goals; that is the 21 century luxury!

Advantages of the age of knowledge: just because a remedy is old, does not mean it is the best for us. Over time, I suspect that all the BAD/ ineffective remedies will eventually fall by the waist side, while the best remedies/ protocols will surface to the top. Some people may think that, because soapsud enemas remove old fecal matter, it is great and healing. It is not the soap that is healing, but the removal of old fecal matter; however, the detergents cause a, silent destruction and a vicious cycle sets in. Yes, we need to remove the old purification caused by western diets, but there are so many other protocols we can use besides detergents- a protocol that builds friendly floral, replenishes electrolytes and leaves our homeostatic ecosystem intact.

An example: In chemistry, I learned that like elements attract like elements. What I mean by this is that we now know that by using oils and lipids we can penetrate even deeper into our cells. Think about cold cream. Yes, this is the best I can come up with… Cold cream penetrates deep into the skin cleaning far better than soap does. It leaves the skin smooth and clean with out drying the skin out or damaging the cells. The same can apply to the colon… Flax seed is great for enemas… you can be creative too.

Ana
