Itchy skin and hives after liver cleanse

Having been diagnosed with Gallstones 2 years ago, I have done periodic flushes (when I begin to feel pain again), each time passing some stones. Some of these flushes I have dones without enemas. On the two that I have done that I used coffee enemas, the following week or two I keep breaking out in hives (unrelated to food). I never have hives or allergies otherwise, so I'm thinking it must be related?

Also, my sister and I both have periodic intense itching of the skin especially on our arms, (hers seems especially stress related but mine doesn't) and I recently ran across something that suggested a link to bilirubin under the skin. Has anyone ever had this symptom or heard of it?
